This Privacy Policy explains how OmniSeek (“we,” “us,” or the “App”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our AI-powered visual recognition and search services. Please read it carefully before using the App.
Depending on how you use OmniSeek, you may provide images, screenshots, camera captures, text prompts, search questions, saved items, support messages, feedback, and preferences. If you purchase paid features, the App may also receive transaction-related metadata from the relevant app store or payment channel, but we do not receive your full payment card details from Apple or Google.
We may collect device and app information such as device model, operating system, language, app version, app instance identifiers, network diagnostics, crash reports, and feature usage data. We may also process basic image metadata and technical parameters necessary to display, transmit, and analyze content.
The core recognition service does not require access to your contacts, call logs, text messages, or unrelated photos that you have not chosen to upload. We do not collect your full payment card number through the App when purchases are processed by third-party platforms.
We use uploaded or captured content to analyze visible items and return identifications, classifications, summaries, explanations, recommendations, translations, or related results. This may include recognizing products, plants, animals, food, landmarks, artworks, documents, and other objects visible in the content you submit.
We use third-party AI models to process the images and text you provide. Unless we have obtained your explicit opt-in consent, we do not use your private photos or personal identification data to train our general-purpose AI models for other users. Your data is processed solely to provide the specific recognition or search result you requested.
We may use your information to send service-related notices, support responses, billing notices, updates about material changes, and optional notifications that you can manage through your device or account settings.
We may use information to detect fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, policy violations, and other harmful behavior, and to comply with legal obligations, lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and property.
When you submit content, it may be transmitted to our servers or trusted service providers for processing, storage, inference, moderation, and result delivery. Processing may involve computer vision, multimodal reasoning, translation, and ranking systems.
Unless we clearly disclose otherwise and obtain any consent required by law, we do not use the images or other User Content you submit through OmniSeek to train or fine-tune general-purpose AI models for unrelated users.
OmniSeek is not designed as a biometric identification or identity verification service. We do not use uploaded images to verify a real person’s identity through facial recognition as part of the core service offering.
We may share limited information with vendors and processors that help us provide the App, such as cloud hosting providers, AI model and inference providers, content moderation vendors, analytics and crash reporting providers, customer support tools, and payment or subscription platforms. These parties are permitted to use the information only on our behalf and subject to contractual or legal safeguards.
We may disclose information if we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request; to enforce our terms; to detect, prevent, or address security or fraud issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of OmniSeek, our users, or others.
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain your history or settings, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the feature involved.
Where supported, you may delete saved history, uploaded content, or other materials through the App. Deleted information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period before being fully removed, consistent with our retention practices and legal obligations.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also be able to withdraw permissions such as camera or photo access through your device settings. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below.
OmniSeek is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided us with personal information without the required consent, please contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.
Depending on where you use the App and where our service providers are located, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the App, the app store listing, email, or other reasonable means. The “Effective Date” and “Last Updated” fields will reflect the latest version.
